Music is All Around The World


Music is all around the world. Many different regions of the world include different kinds of music, including: Pop, Country, Jazz, Rap, Rock, Electronic, Folk, Synth wave, Metal, Industrial, Alternative, Classical, Bluegrass, and many more. These examples are simply just among the more popular styles and genres in The United States. Other countries like The United Kingdom have: Punk, R&B, EDM, Indie Rock, Country, Jazz, Indie Pop, Metal, Pop, Hip-Hop, etc. India has: Indian Classical, Folk Music, Filmi, Indian Pop, etc. Japan has: J-Pop, Metal, and Indie Rock. The top ten countries that spend the most on music per person is:

1. Norway - $23.58 per person

2. UK - $20.81 per person

3. Japan - $20.64 per person

4. Sweden - $19.75 per person

5. Germany - $17.42 per person

6. Australia - $16.26 per person

7. USA - $15.36 per person

8. Austria - $13.56 per person

9. Switzerland - $13.39 per person

10. France - $12.76 per person

The top ten countries that spend the least on music per person is:


1. China - $0.07 per person

2. India - $0.08 per person

3. Mexico - $1.07 per person

4. Brazil - $1.23 per person

5. Spain - $3.87 per person

6. Italy - $3.93 per person

7. South Korea - $5.29 per person

8. Canada - $9.74 per person

9. Belgium - $9.93 per person

10. Netherlands - $12.19 per person

Through this information, we can infer that the most popular and successful industries of music comes from Norway, UK, and Japan. The least popular and successful industries of music comes from China, India, and Mexico. Other information that can be inferred is that Norway, UK, and Japan have more of a media for music and possibly more mixed genres to choose from. China, India, and Mexico may not have much media for music and possibly less of mixed genres to choose

According to the graph, Rap and Latin clearly compete with each other. It is purely region that changes where the most popular major genres are.

Middle East: K-Pop, Rap, Latin
North America: Rap, Latin, EDM
